By the first day, you’ll be ready to jump straight in with:

• The Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Our essential materials, such as fonts
• Your classroom and workspace on Zoom and Slack
• The best inspiration resources

Your first module gives you the essential knowledge and practical skills to kickstart your journey as a graphic designer. You'll learn:

• Design theory: Build a strong understanding of what makes great design. You'll dive into key topics like design principles, grids, typography and colour theory.
• Design practical: Get hands-on with industry-leading tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and Photoshop with in-depth demos, lectures and exercises.
• Concept development: Discover creative techniques that help you think conceptually and develop unique design ideas.
• Briefs: Learn how to interpret and respond to design briefs, applying your new skills to deliver successful design solutions.
• Final Project: Finish with a branding project, where you'll create a multi-part brand rollout and present it as a professional pitch.

In this module you'll apply and refine the skills you've learned so far and you'll also delve deeper into:

• More advanced tools in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• How to manage and develop in-depth, multi-day briefs with extensive rollouts
• Complex brief requirements
• Responding to design feedback
• Soft skills like time and project management while working on multiple briefs

Your final module is geared towards you having an interview-ready portfolio and website by the end of the course–so you're ready for the design industry.

During this time you'll:

• Work one-on-one with your teacher on your portfolio
• Develop a personal brand identity
• Revisit and develop briefs to a professional standard with your improved skills and confidence
• Build an interview portfolio
• Create a portfolio website
• Present and showcase your work to top names within the industry
