Best of 2024: Dan Wilson celebrates this year's best vinyl artwork

For nearly two decades now, vinyl sales have been on the up. While more people are streaming than ever before, interest in owning physical music is also rising.

In 2024, some thought vinyl might finally be on the decline but it turned out to be dud data. Instead, 2024 has seen another rise in vinyl sales as people increasingly turn to owning physical records. Some attribute the growth to fans looking for a tangible and collectible way to support their favourite artists, which also allows them to appreciate the artwork and packaging–creating a more ritualistic experience all round.

Let's take a look at the best designs across the vinyl that dropped in 2024.
