Behind the scenes.
Designing futures since 1997.
Formed out of necessity.
In 1997, Andrew founded Shillington to pioneer a new way of learning graphic design.
Traditional education is still failing to equip students with the skills required to succeed in the creative industries. At Shillington, our belief has never changed - you don’t need a degree to become a designer.
When you’re tutored by practising graphic designers, rather than lectured to by academics, you can be ready to work in just 3 months. And we have over 10,000 successful graduates to prove it.
We implement building block style learning where each new skill learnt builds on the previous. We guide our students through a unique step-by-step framework from practical context and collaboration to prepared implementation and powerful critiques. We prepare students with industry-relevant skills, powerful design thinking capability, and the confidence to start with a blank page.
Real skills.
